PulmoClear 0.9%

Sterile Sodium Chloride 0.9% Inhalation Solution

Indications: PULMOCLEAR Inhalation Solution is used for moistening the upper and lower respiratory passages by spraying with an electrically operated jet nebuliser or ultrasonic nebuliser; e.g. as a supplementary measure for the treatment of colds (e.g. cough or head cold), reduced humidity typical of spending long periods in air-condtioned or heated rooms.

Compositions: 1 ml contains: Sodium chloride 0.9 %, water for injections.

Directions for use: As required, up to a maximum of 4 times daily. Place the contents of a ready-to-use ampoule in the electrically operated jet nebuliser or ultrasonic nebuliser according to manufacturer specifications. The period of inhalation is dependent on the type of inhaler and may vary according to equipment. It should however not exceed 20 minutes for a 2.5 ml ampoule of PULMOCLEAR Inhalation Solution.

PulmoClear 3%

Sterile 3% Hypertonic Sodium Chloride Solution

Indications: Increases the mobilisation of secretions in the lower respiratory tract by osmotic effects (for example in cases of cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, bronchiolitis). Prevents drying of bronchial mucous. This hypertonic saline solution 3% for inhalation can be used with pneumatic or ultrasonic nebulisers.

Compositions: 1 ml contains: Sodium chloride 3%, water for injections.

Directions for use: The recommended dose of Hypertonic saline solution 3% for inhalation is one unit-dose vial 2 to 4 times a day. Break off a unitdose vial and open it by twisting off the top. Pour the inhalation solution into the nebuliser. Use your nebuliser according to the manufacturer's instructions provided with the system.
